The employees are from the tribe of the San Bushmen. Two of them are excellent in searching trails. In the North, along the way to the Etosha-pan, you will find our hunting farm Hairabib (Hyene Hiet) with an area of 7.000 ha. Our area consists of Savannah-Steppe, fenced in meadows, various waterholes for our game and our cattle. Because of our selective and sustainable hunting, we have a strong and healthy stock of game. This is also shown from our very positive statistics of Eland 75% gold, Kudu 55% gold and Warthog 70% gold trophies. In order to guarantee our hunters the best care, we only offer hunting guidance in the relation 1-1 or 1-2. At the time of stalking, we are accompanied by our trail-reader from the tribe of the San Bushmen. In additional to the hunting with firearms we also offer bow hunting. The shot game will be processed on our farm for private consumption. More... TROPHY BLACK BEAR & GRIZZLYWe've got big Bears. Every season our Hunters take Black Bears over 7' (Skull measurements scoring 19.5 inches and over). “I don’t know anyone that can guide two 7’ Bears in one day but you guys”, Don S. Clover Dave Herrmann's (pictured right) monster measured 7'5" (nose to tail) and took the Omineca Record, so far. That's 2.26 meters of Bear (in metric). Most of our Hunters take Blacks between 5 and 6½ feet.15% - 20% of our Black Bears are brown colour-phase, ranging from blonde to dark copper. Whether hunting Black Bear in the Spring or in the Fall it's average to see about 5 Bears a day. In the Spring, we spot and stalk old logging cuts and bush trails where new dandelion and clover grow. In the early Fall, the Bears are drawn to the variety of berries that ripen on open hillsides. More... ![]() CANADA MOOSE We specialize in calling Bulls. “This is a Class-A Hunt. I can’t wait to come back”, Deverne D. Victoria We have a range of techniques and tricks to bring them in. And we encourage every hunter to learn to call. We'll teach you how. Cow calls, Bull calls, breaking and scraping, other moosy sounds, even Calf calls are used. A Bull might come out and give us a chance after 20 minutes and a couple of Cow calls. Or we might have to work a Bull for hours. Often when a Bull responds, gets close but doesn't come out, he's expecting the Cow come to him. That's when calling and stalking properly can allow a Hunter to stalk in for a kill. This technique can be especially successful for Bow Hunters. Most Bulls harvested are between 30 and 48 inches. Our biggest bulls grow antlers with spreads over 50 inches. Expect to see Moose, hear them or see fresh sign, every day. We have some of the densest Moose populations in BC. Black Bear are active into the beginning of October. You can add Bear to make your Moose Hunt a Combo Hunt. More... |
